Nunes Gil AKA DJ IDEALL

Nunes Gil, known as DJ IDEALL, is an Italo-Brazilian model, DJ, photographer, and cyclist currently based in Seoul. Born in Balneário Camboriú—often called the “Brazilian Dubai” or “Brazilian Miami” due to itst luxury and status as the National Electronic Music Capital—he has been professionally DJing since 2001.

His passion for music started early, influenced by his parents—his father introduced him to disco, while his mother nurtured his love for Bossa Nova. Later, his style was shaped by mentors Fernando Olsen (Brazil) and Rubben Roca (Spain). Over the years, his musical journey has spanned various genres, from Chillout, Lounge, Bossa Nova, and Trip-Hop to Hip-Hop, Disco, Funk, Jazz, House, and Trance.

A career-defining moment came in 2005 and 2006 when he was the official DJ for the New Year’s Eve celebration at Balneário Camboriú beach, performing for over a million people each year.

While initially graduating in Law, he decided to start fresh in New York City in 2012, traveling back and forth until finally settling in Brooklyn in 2018. There, he played in several clubs before a new chapter unfolded in 2021. After meeting his soulmate, he decided to move to Seoul to be with her, continuing his creative journey in a new cultural landscape.
