Bclip B2B Merca Bae [HOST: Cakeshop]
HOST Cakeshop

Influenced by the “picó” scene (Colombian Soundsystem) and raised in the ghetto of Soledad Atlántico, Bclip initially emerges as an atypical urban producer dissatisfied with predefined labels and genres. He decides to navigate through a wide spectrum of sounds sheltered under what he calls “LA GRA$A,” challenging the conventional boundaries of electronic music. He explores a broad range of influences ranging from salsa, reggaetón, and coastal folklore to black metal, IDM, and hard house. This exploration results in the production of a vast musical spectrum coherent with his foundations in Latin American crossover. Combined with his acute artistic sensibility, this catapults him into recognition as a member of the timeless vanguard of the Latin American music scene.

Bclip embodies the countercultural resonance of the ghetto, flourishing in scarcity, resourcefulness, and empirical talent, all rooted in a profound knowledge and investigation of roots and previous history, coupled with an anti-light sentiment representing the cutting-edge marginal dissent.
